Celtic travelled to Lanarkshire's version of The Bernabeau Stadium
for todays match against the mighty Hamilton Accies. Legend has in
that the bold Accies are descended from The Ack Ack tribe who foiled
the invasion of the Roman Army in A.D. 67. Legion 202 got as far in
their invasion of Alba as Airbles Road in Motherwell when they were
promptly mugged by a gang of Picts who force fed them fried Mars
Bars and Haggis. The Roman Army promptly turned tail and retreated
back to Hadrian's Wall. Caesar was really annoyed at this and
declared Scotland off limits which explains why no decent Italian
players ever venture north of the border. That explains the current
transfer window activity.
On a positive note the site revamp is now complete and will be live
end of day Sunday 31st. Just needs some final testing which will be
done Sunday morning. Your web manager has been somewhat busy in
recent months, but we are there now and hope you enjoy the new
layout

Celtic next head to Rugby Park to face Kilmarnock on Tuesday
February 2nd, 2:30 p.m. EST kick off. Live at The Parlour. This
represents a major banana skin for The Bhoys and it is safe to say
the League is loused if 3 points are not secured. No hiding places
any more. In breaking news, New York Celtic Supporters Club stalwart
Steve O'Brien has recently been experimenting with 3D TV in advance
of the forthcoming promise of 3D broadcasts during The World Cup.
Unfortunately Steve donned a pair of sunglasses instead of the
requisite broadcast compatible eyeware. This was a bad move since
while watching a prototype broadcast of Celtic's game against
Hamilton the bold Steve got carried away and attempted to steal the
ball from Marc Antoine Fortune at today's penalty incident and
grabbed his microwave oven instead. Steve's microwave was in the
process of heating Scotch Pies to the microbiologically safe
temperature of 6,000 degrees centrgrade. Steve is now
recovering encased in ice with a crate of Stella Artois. Steve is
expected to make a full recovery but is still banned from singing
The Fields of Athenrye at The Parlour.

Where to Find Us
The faithful members of The New York Celtic
Supporters
Club
got roaring drunk and elected an Executive Management
Committee clearly based on
intrinsic comedic value. Click on the image above and
review their resumes. What a motley collection of misfits. Resemblance to
any actual person alive or dead is purely coincidental !
